Green pasta with tuna sauce

We got lazy on Saturday and decided to just make dinner from what we could find at home, luckily my boyfriend’s kitchen is well stocked.

The tuna sauce I made is an adaptation of a Jamie Oliver recipe but as we didn’t have all the ingredients he used I just made it up from what I could find.

– Pasta (we used spinach pasta)
– Passata or canned tomatoes
– Canned tuna
– Onion
– Garlic
– Lemon
– Salt and pepper for seasoning
– Mixed herbs
– Cinnamon

Fry the onion and garlic in the oil from the tuna.
Add in the tuna in chunks.
Add in the passata/chopped tomatoes.
Squeeze in the lemon, add mixed herbs, seasoning and half a teaspoon of cinnamon.

Jamie Oliver also adds olives, capers and anchovies which make it taste even better.

Buon appetito.

  1. Hello there! I could have sworn I’ve visited your blog before but after looking at some of the posts I realized it’s new to me.

Regardless, I’m definitely happy I came across it and I’ll be book-marking it and checking back frequently!
