Octopus Spaghetti

Last weekend we had my Mum’s goddaughter and her little sister come stay with us for the night which was great fun for my sister and me because we got to bring out and play with all our old Barbie’s and playmobile.

For dinner we tried out a recipe (don’t know if you can really call it that) I had seen on pinterest ages ago and had always been keen to try. The girls loved it as they were able to help and they named it ‘octopus spaghetti‘. Here’s why:

IMG_4352You’ll need a packet of spaghetti, sausages and some helpers.

IMG_4353Slice up the sausages (we used wienerli).

PushΒ the spaghetti through the sausage slices.

It should look something like this.

And now I present to you ‘octopus spaghetti’:

IMG_4361 IMG_4362Definitely not something I’d eat every day but making it was lots of fun.

Here are some more photos of the weekend:

I kept trying to do their hair but this as far as I got.

We took some selfies.IMG_4460

We played and played and played.

We walked down to the movie rental store.

I used to babysit a lot during school but since going to uni I barely do it which is a shame. It just meant I enjoyed the weekend even more when we had these two cuties over. And I look forward to my part-time nannying job this summer.
