Dance for freedom

Last Saturday Zürich turned into another massive party.
This time it was Street Parade, a techno event.

30 floats and 8 stages ensured there was constantly music being played along the lake.
The floats each have their own theme and dancers on them.
Another 950 000 people come from all over Europe to rave and to enjoy the outdoor club feeling.
And the day drinking and drug consuming.

For the amount of people, alcohol and drugs there are this event is very peaceful.
The dress code is what you want it to be or don’t want it to be in the case of those who come almost naked.

I worked but was lucky to be in a location where I saw all the floats come by.
And my friends as I’d made them all promise to come visit me ;).

I made sure to catch as much as I could of the day (and night) on camera from my exclusive spot.

And these photos give you an idea what it was like:

What I found cool was that all the Swiss and International DJs and musicians played for free to keep up with the non-profit theme of Street Parade.
Also no major advertising was allowed on the floats.

Once the parade was over the party continued at the outdoor stages until midnight and after that in the clubs.

Hey Zürich, once again you know how to throw an amazing party!
