I know Canadian thanksgiving has passed but it’s never wrong to count your blessings.
So here are the things I’m grateful for, not just today, but all the time.
With pictures because it’s no fun really without pictures, right?
♥ For my family.
They are the most supportive, loving and caring people I know.
No matter where we are in the world I know I can always count on them.
When we’re together we laugh so much our bellies hurt and we have tears rolling down our faces.
And in my books, that’s a good sign.
♥ For my friends.
Old and new.
It’s crazy how time passes, we’re spread all over the place and we are still friends.
I guess a lot of that is thanks to technology!
And then it’s also crazy how quickly you can just ‘click’ with certain people and it feels like you’ve known them forever.
I’m grateful to my friends for being there for me and also being able to be silly and goofy with them, ’cause if you can’t do it with them who can you do it with?!
♥ I am forever grateful for all the opportunities I have had in my life, mainly thanks to my parents.
They have taught me so much, opened my mind and made me who I am today.
♥ I am grateful for the opportunity I have to study in Edinburgh.
It’s not always been easy or my favourite place to be but I know I am really fortunate to be able to study abroad.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Writing this post reminded me of my 6th Grade teacher.
Every morning we spent 10 mins writing down 2 or 3 things we were grateful for that day in our gratitude journals.
It really made us appreciate the smaller things in life and even though it felt tedious at times, in hindsight I think it was a fantastic exercise.
What are you grateful for?
Oh and to all of you celebrating thanksgiving today: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
