The day after our prosecco night we had a bit of a slow start to the morning.
J got her haircut and we spent some more time walking around Edinburgh.
I kept getting annoyed that the sky on the photos was so grey but then I looked up and realised the sky really was just that grey.
And of course this week, the sun has been out all the time…Showing J the birthplace of Harry Potter.
We walked up to the castle, decked out in our Nikes which were very trusty companions that week. Then the walk down the Royal Mile… St. Giles Cathedral. Now let me take you up the Scott Monument…It’s £4 to get in and you have to climb 287 steps to get to the top.
The steps are very narrow, especially at the top.
So nothing for those that are claustrophobic!
We made it to the first level and were surprised it didn’t seem that high. And then we discovered the steps in the smallest entryway that let to the top.
No passing other people there!
The views get better and better with every level we climbed. Greetings from the top!
After all that climbing we decided to go watch Wolf of Wallstreet and have Indian for dinner, along with some wine of course.Cheers!
