Jamie’s Italian (again)

I know I’ve already blogged about Jamie’s Italian not too long ago, HERE.
But I wasn’t actually very statisfied with the pictures so when I finally got my camera and another chance to go, I just had to take pictures.
And share them with you of course.

Here we go.

So in love with the interior.
Especially the ceiling and the chandeliers.Jamie's Italian, Edinburgh // L.Alexandra

And hey, my camera actually does the place some justice!
Jamie's Italian, Edinburgh // L.AlexandraI’m a Gold Club Member at Jamie’s so every time I go, I get a free little taster dish before my meal.
You can become a member too, HERE.

As our free taster we got a celeriac and truffle soup.
It blew me away.
That good.

If it had been on the menu, I would’ve ordered a huge bowl!Jamie's Italian, Edinburgh // L.AlexandraJamie's Italian, Edinburgh // L.AlexandraWe had Rossinis while we studied the menu.
Which we have full intention of recreating this summer when I’m back in Zürich.
It’s prosecco with seasonal fruit purée.

Next we had the honeycomb cannelloni three ways and the truffle tagliatelle.
It must be their truffle, ’cause again I was blown away.Jamie's Italian, Edinburgh // L.Alexandra

And what is a meal without wine?
Their house white is really nice, try it next time.

Makes it quicker to work through the whole menu ;)

Of course we had to try the desserts too.

Once again, such a good meal!
The staff are always lovely as well which makes it such a pleasure to go to.

Next up on the blog: London, baby!
