London Part 2

This post is so long overdue I debated whether to even upload it.
But there’s nothing like reminiscing about good times on a Sunday night after a weekend of living in the library, right?

Anyways, here goes London Part 2.

We were lucky on Saturday as the sun decided to come out.
It was still really cold but the sun made it a lot more bearable.
London // L.AlexandraWe spent the day exploring London by the bus tour.
Doing guided bus tours is a great way to see the whole city, learn about it and then decide what you really want to see.
Most entitle you to a hop on hop off day ticket.

Jill randomly bumped into some friends from back home at the hostel (small world huh?) and they gave us the tip to visit Borough Market.Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.AlexandraWe loved it!
We spent at least an hour wandering around, admiring all the food and trying as many of the samples as we could.Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.AlexandraIf I lived near by, I could tell this would be dangerous for me.
So much yummy food in one place!Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.AlexandraThere was a lot of British produce but they also had specialities from all over world.Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.AlexandraWish I could’ve bought all the flowers.Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.AlexandraJill had a falafel burger.Borough Market, London // L.AlexandraAnd I had a salt beef bagel for lunch.Borough Market, London // L.Alexandra Borough Market, London // L.AlexandraNaturally we walked across London Bridge singing Spice Girls.London // L.Alexandra London // L.Alexandra London // L.AlexandraOf course, we had to pull out all tourist shots.
London // L.AlexandraThe weekend we were there was Chinese New Year and we happened to walk on this huge parade in China Town.
Sadly there were so many people I couldn’t get a good shot of the ‘dragon’.China Town, London // L.AlexandraTo warm up, we went into this cute little restaurant that made handmade dumplings.

The food definitely makes me want to travel to Vietnam.
Like right now.
