I have FINALLY gotten around to blogging again!
It’s been too long but things have just been busy and I had a bit of a writers block…
Buuut I intend to be back on here more often.
And why not kick it off with a little food photography?
A couple of weeks ago the third Street Food Festival was held at the Dolder Kunsteisenbahn.
The weather couldn’t have been better and although there were a lot people it didn’t seem overcrowded.
I had the Lotus which was amazing albeit a little hard to eat.
I want to try and recreate it so I’ll let you know how it goes!
These were the perfect refreshment on such a sunny day, especially the blueberry-lavender ice tea.
So I was lucky because I started the day with two friends and as they left, another two came. Which meant I got to eat even more food! Ha!
I’m not a tartar fan but the girls loved it.
The vegan panda bun wasn’t quite as exciting as their stand and packaging…
This dish from Flying Cups was one of my favourites of the day.
Salmon on a cucumber-carrot salad with spinach and honey-dill vinaigrette.
Super refreshing and light.
We ended the food tour with churros.
And although the line was one of the longest of festival, it was totally worth the wait.
Dipping them in chocolate sauce was my favourite!
And got me all excited for my trip to Madrid.
Already excited for the next Street Food Festival and all the good food…
