Yoga Retreat in Paradise

Last summer my Mum and I spent a week at Zening Resorts in Cyprus for a yoga retreat. It was so amazing (last year’s post HERE) that we decided to go again this year.

And I’m so glad we did!

Seeing as it still looked the same, we focused more on taking yoga pictures.
Which I’d never done much before but it is actually a great way to see progress but also to see where you could improve.

I feel so blessed to be able to share my love of yoga with my Mum. Who actually got me hooked.

The morning classes would be held under this tree with the view of the sea which adds another level of zen.
We did a couple of one hour meditation sessions which were amazing.
I would love to get into meditating but sometimes struggle on where to begin…

Soaking up sun in October? Feels sooo good!

Yes, that is my Mum.

I read “How to be Parisian wherever you are: Love, Style and Bad Habits” during the week and loved it!

I also loved having fresh juices daily and now debating whether to get a juicer…

If you’re looking at doing a yoga retreat I can highly recommend Zening Resorts.
And what’s great about Cyprus is that the summer lasts really long, October still has temperatures as high as 28 degrees, and the summer starts early again.

Oh and here’s a little game for you to end the post: spot Laura :-)

  1. That’s so lovely that you share your love of yoga with your mom and are able to take amazing trips like this! Good for you!

And I’m so impressed she can do the splits!! That’s one of my goals but am FAR from it!!!

Meditation doesn’t have to ‘start’ anywhere other than sitting down for a few minutes, and you can just focus on your breathing. There are many guided meditations that you can also do, there are even apps!
